Squeakbyte LLC built the Monk Mode app as a Commercial app. This SERVICE is provided by Squeakbyte LLC and is intended for use as is.

Information Collection and Use

Monk Mode does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to external servers. All data remains on your devices.

Health Data

Monk Mode integrates with Apple HealthKit to read and write the following data types, only with your explicit authorization:

• Mindful Minutes

• Heart Rate

• Workouts (Mind & Body)

Health data is processed entirely on-device and is never sent to Squeakbyte LLC or any third party. You can revoke HealthKit permissions at any time through the Settings app on your Apple Watch or iPhone.

On-Device Processing

All app functionality runs entirely on your devices:

• Guided meditation audio is generated on-device using Apple's text-to-speech engine (AVSpeechSynthesizer).

• Settings and session data are synced directly between your paired Apple Watch and iPhone using Apple's Watch Connectivity framework — this communication does not pass through any external servers.

• Custom audio files you import for bell tones are stored locally on your device and are never uploaded or transmitted.

• Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets read HealthKit data locally to display your meditation progress.

No audio, session content, usage data, or personal information is transmitted off your devices at any time.

Service Providers

Monk Mode does not use third-party analytics, crash reporting, or advertising services. No personal information is shared with third parties.

Security

Because Monk Mode does not collect or transmit personal data, there is no risk of data breach from our servers. All data is protected by your devices' built-in security.

This Service may contain links to other sites. If you click on a third-party link, you will be directed to that site. These external sites are not operated by us. We advise you to review the Privacy Policy of any external website you visit. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services.

This Service does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13.
